MMORPG Tycoon 2 v0.18.63

Take charge of a full-sized MMORPG world and fill it with monsters, towns, NPCs, and quest chains. Design the player classes for AI subscribers to use, and keep them entertained! Design the monsters, balance the combat, and keep your subscribers happy and playing (and paying!) so that you can cover your server and bandwidth costs, all while building new regions for your players to explore as they increase in levels and power! Craft the terrain, lay out scenery to make your world beautiful, raise new land from the seafloor; the world is yours to craft! Design the appearance and the combat abilities of your game’s player classes, monsters, and more. Buff and nerf classes at your whim! Lay out villages and towns, roads, questing areas, and even individual quests with quest chains to keep your subscribers busy! Catch cheaters and ban them (or don’t; as long as they keep paying their subscription fees, do you really care what they do?) Issue warnings to misbehaving subscribers to keep them from bothering other players Assist subscribers who become stuck, or hire game masters to do it for you!

It’s neat that you can go in and design all your enemies and classes and stuff, and it’s pretty friendly and easy to lay out good looking areas. Everything costs the same and gives you the same benefit, so you don’t have to make ugly choices for the sake of game bonuses. But that’s as far as it goes. It doesn’t really have any management tools, and it seems that no matter what you do the numbers just go up, so any choices you make are irrelevant. Subscribers complain about things that there aren’t ways to fix, or things that you can fix but without any way to see if you did fix it, because complaints are just a tally so there’s no way to see if what you did changed anything. But again, it doesn’t matter because subscribers keep paying regardless, so you might as well not fix anything. The same thing that makes it a fun design tool makes it a very boring and pointless game.

if it wasn’t for the NPC-PCs that interact with your world once you create it. Doing the quests, using the spells, enjoying the level design. It’s great, to me. I certainly encourage anyone who likes this sort of thing and people who like building games, to give this a try, when this is completed, I could see my self spending hundreds of hours in this game, trying to create a great looking world for the NPC-Players to run around in. I like games where you’re not in direct control of your characters. Like Majesty a game about building a town for a bunch of heroes that are not controlled by you, so they can rest, gear up, level up and for the right price,
